After his father’s death, Arnon Milchan ran his father’s fertilized company. Milchan gradually transformed the company into a successful chemical company. However, his interest in international trade and entrepreneurial spirit led him to found his own company, Milchan Brothers Ltd., in the 1960s. Initially, the company focused on agricultural exports and gradually expanded into various industries, including those of plastic, electronics and defense.
During the 1960s and 1970s, he became involved in clandestine activities for the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. He reportedly played a major role in facilitating the acquisition of technologies and materials for Israel’s nuclear weapons program, as well as other covert operations.
