Anuj Chaudhary (also spelt as Anuj Choudhary) aka Anuj Kumar was born on Tuesday, 4 January 1994 (age 29 years; at the time of death) in Aliya Nekpur village of Joya block of Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, India. His zodiac sign was Capricorn. He did his primary schooling at the local school in his village and later quit studying further. In 2018, he moved to Parsvnath Pratibha Society in Moradabad and later pursued a career in politics.

Death
Anuj Chaudhary was shot dead outside his flat at 6 pm on the evening of 10 August 2023 when he was out for a walk with his friend, Puneet Chaudhary of Sambhal, in the Parsvnath Pratibha Society in Moradabad. Three men came on a bike and fired bullets at him and his friend. Anuj was hit by 4 bullets in his head, back, and shoulder, in a span of 20 seconds, and his friend also sustained a bullet injury. Anuj used to live in flat numbers 401 and 402 of the Tower T-7 of the Parsvnath Pratibha Society. He was rushed to a private hospital where doctors declared him dead. Anuj’s family said that Anuj was murdered due to political enmity with Prabhakar Singh, husband of Asmoli Block Head, Santosh Devi, Santosh’s son, Aniket, resident of Haji Bera, Amit Chaudhary, resident of Bhawalpur Wasli, and Pushpendra of Sambhal and registered an FIR against them at Majhola Police Station.
Reportedly, Anuj defeated Pushpendra in the Panchayat election. Police investigations revealed that the killers entered the Society 20 minutes before the murder via gate number 2 where the guards, Manak Singh and Deepak, neither stopped them nor registered their details, and they left the society via gate number 1 where guard, Subhash Chandra Sharma, did not stop them. Anuj had one police gunner and two private gunners; however, they were not with him at the time of the murder. Anuj’s murder got recorded on a CCTV camera installed in the building and became viral following his death.
