Annmarie Tom is an Indian actress, model and choreographer who predominantly works in the Bengali entertainment industry. She is known for playing the role of Binapani Roychoudhury in the Star Jalsha show Grammar Rani Binapani (2021).

Annmarie Tom was born on Saturday, 6 July 1996 (age 26 years; as in 2022) in Kannur, Kerala. His zodiac sign is Cancer. He did his primary education from Alphonsa English Medium School, Keezpally, Kerala. In 2002, she shifted to Barrackpore, Kolkata. Later, she studied at St. Claret’s School, Barrackpore and Auxilium Convent School, Barasat, Kolkata. Soon after completing his higher secondary education, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. He speaks very sweetly in Bengali and addresses everyone as ‘Tumi’. Mother has taught me to call elders ‘my’. My sister and mother have also introduced me to Bengali culture and I also have Bengali friends here. But when I go to my home in Kerala, I am told that I am Bengali, but when I come back here, my uncle jokingly says, ‘Tui to ekhono keralaite e roye geli.’ And then I’m like, yes, I’m Malayali, or yes, I’m Bengali. Both cultures are very rich in their own ways and are similar in some ways. We know how to keep our culture with pride and both the cultures are in my blood.”

Before venturing into acting, Annmarie worked as a model for various brands. In 2020, she worked as a model in a print shoot for Shyam Sundar Company Jewellers.
Television
In 2021, she made her acting debut in the Star Jalsha television show Grammar Rani Binapani, in which she played the role of Binapani Roychoudhury. In an interview, AnnMarie recalled how she got the lead role in her first TV show and her parents’ reaction to her achievement. He said,
The person conducting the audition asked me to come to Calcutta from Barrackpore, and told me that the role was suitable for me. The audition took hours, including look tests; I completed it and left for home. While I was in the car, I got a call – ‘Annie, you’ve been selected!’ And believe me, I cried; I didn’t tell my parents right away because I wanted to see their reactions face to face. I called my best friend, crying continuously the whole time… At home, both dad and mom were crying tears of joy. I remember Dad saying, ‘Didn’t I tell you the time would come when you’d do what you love, and it’s here!’ Both of them were very happy.”
In 2023, she appeared in the television show Phaguner Mohona, in which she played the role of Rumjhum opposite Siddharth Sen.

- Annmarie Tom is a trained Kathak and Bharatnatyam dancer. She also runs a self-titled YouTube channel in which she frequently shares her dance videos. According to Annmarie, she used to go to dance classes since childhood.
- In 2019, she had a serious accident, after which doctors advised her not to dance. Later in 2022, after recovering from the accident, he returned to dance.
- According to Annmarie, initially, she was not fluent in Bengali; Her second language is Hindi and she studied in an English convent school. Later his mother taught him to read Bengali. Annmarie talked about this in an interview and said,
Initially, it was difficult for me to read the script in Bengali because I did not understand Bengali that well. My second language was Hindi and I studied in an English medium school. Therefore, I could not study Bengali formally but learned from mother, so my knowledge of Bengali is practical rather than theoretical. Mom has always urged me to talk more in Bengali to understand the conversational language, and now even more so. And the entire team knows that I still have some difficulty in speaking Bengali, but they always encourage and motivate me to overcome it. I was asked to read Bengali books, poems, read newspapers and I accepted the advice.
