Controversy
Dr. Anjali Ramkissoon was waiting for an Uber to take her home after a night out with her colleagues. But when she arrived an Uber got in without making a reservation. When the driver asked her to leave because there was no prior reservation, she started fighting with the driver. During the fight, she became violent and more belligerent as well as disorderly.
Additionally, he then walked away from the car, only to return and begin harassing the driver. He was seen kicking and punching the Uber driver. He even threw several objects at the driver’s face.
It was later learned that the Uber had arrived to pick up a passenger whose name was Juan Pico. However, the Uber driver turned out to be the main cinematographer of all of Ramkissoon’s middle-of-the-road violence.
Shortly after the police arrived at the scene, but in a drunken state, she even began kicking the police officer who was handcuffing her. She began to cry after being inside the car when the situation began to calm down and she began to realize her mistake. She was lucky that the Uber driver did not press any charges against her.
All these fights and altercations between Anjali and the Uber driver were recorded. When the video was uploaded online, it went viral. Millions of people watched the video and started scolding and leaving hateful comments on Anjali for her bad behaviour.
