Anderson Cooper’s sheepish laugh during a round of the New Year’s Eve game Never Have I Ever has the Internet laughing.
Copper joined friends Neil Patrick Harris and Andy Cohen last night to host CNN’s 2023 New Year’s Eve live. During the night they decided to have fun with the drinking game, which is played when someone asks a revealing question, and if someone has asked they have to take a sip of beer or liquor.
Andy Cohen decided to ask: “I’ve never connected with a fan.” Cohen drank in his own question and said, “Well, I mean, if they’re not fans, they wouldn’t…”
After Cohen’s confession, Cooper began to laugh. Harris then took a photo of his Red Bull and added: “If they weren’t before, they were after. You know what I’m talking about. Or do you know what I mean?”
Harris’ joke caused Anderson Cooper to start laughing so hard he had to wipe away some tears. Cooper didn’t take a drink, so we assume he never did.
The boys kept playing and asked, “I’ve never spent a whole day in bed.” While Cohen and Harris couldn’t help but laugh along with the humorous host, they managed to stay united. Cooper, however, doubled over hysterically and even walked away from the camera several times.

Cooper finally recovered when Harris and Cohen reflected on the question: “I have never told a friend or coworker that I loved a TV or Broadway show when I actually hated it.”
Ultimately, the moment had audiences hoping the trio would become a tradition during CNN’s annual Christmas party.
