In 2005, Anand Narasimhan participated in a competition organized by ESPN Star Sports named Close-up Dream Job – Harsha’s Search. Through this contest, ESPN Star Sports and Harsha Bhogle selected a winner who is a good presenter. Anand Narasimhan won the competition and became a presenter of sporting events from the ESPN studios in Singapore. The competition secured him a position as a presenter for a year. He joined Times Network in 2009. She worked as an anchor for ‘The NewsHour 10’ segment of Times Now channel and as a senior editor at Times Now until 2018. After resigning from Times Now, he joined its rival network, CNN-News18. As Deputy Executive Editor. He is the Managing Editor, Special Projects and Senior Anchor at CNN-News 18. case of false statement
The Judicial Magistrate Court in Malappuram sent a letter to Times Now Editor-in-Chief Rahul Sivasankar and the show’s former anchor Anand Narasimhan after they made false statements against AS Sainaba in his show. According to Ms. Sainaba, the statements made on her show negatively impacted her image. The show talked about a report by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) which said that she was involved in converting Hindu girls to Islam. He says that this has hurt his reputation due to which he has to face serious backlash. She complained about the show trying to link her to the phrase ‘love-jihad’, which was being used against the Muslim population. Rahul Sivasankar and Anand Narasimhan approached the Kerala High Court demanding that the proceedings pending against them in the Judicial Magistrate Court, Malappuram be quashed.
