Amy Schumer turned a recent photo of herself into a meme to express how she feels about actors attending film festivals amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.
It is important to note that actors such as Jessica Chastain, Jacob Elordi, Adam Driver and Patrick Dempsey who have been promoting their work at the 2023 Venice Film Festival obtained permission from the union.
Jessica even expressed her nerves about attending the annual festival and went out of her way to support her fellow actors while they were on the red carpet.
However, Amy took to social media to reveal how she felt about the premieres. She did so using a photo of her taken while she was attending the 2023 US Open with her husband Chris Fischer.

In the photo, which she shared on Instagram, Amy has her mouth open and a surprised expression on her face.
“Me watching the @sagaftra actors do press in Venice,” he simply captioned the post.
Despite having permission to promote their work, stars like Amanda Seyfried have chosen not to attend the premieres in a show of solidarity. Anna Kendrick even skipped the premiere of her new movie woman of the hourwhich is her directorial debut.
