Like Michael Myers, the Hallowe’en The franchise never really dies.
Since the release of the horror classic in 1978 with the original Hallowe’en John Carpenter’s film starring Jamie Lee Curtis, the franchise has since added nearly a dozen remakes and sequels along the way.
While many of the sequels did not fare as well as the original among critics, some of the more recent reboots and retellings of the story have brought new energy and appreciation to the ongoing film series.
This is a ranking of all the movies of the Hallowe’en universe, according to review aggregate website Rotten Tomatoes.
