Gabe Brown is the middle child of the family featured on Alaskan Bush People, and there is a lot to the reality star. He wanted to focus on his wife Raquell and daughter Sophia rather than roughing it in the wilderness, so he left the mountains in his adulthood. Gabe is 33 as of 2023, the fourth son in the family. His wedding to Raquell was a private ceremony in Washington back in January 2019.
To date, there have been 14 seasons of Alaskan Bush People, with the most recent season airing on Discovery+. When not filming near Hoonah, Alaska, the Browns lead a similar bush-style lifestyle in Washington State, although they occasionally travel south to Beverly Hills to get cancer treatments for matriarch Ami Brown. Ami had lung cancer and is currently in remission.
Alaskan Bush People’s Gabe Brown Has a Love For The Sea & Drawing
The Discovery Channel website provided details about Gabe’s life and personality for viewers to get to know him better. For example, when Gabe was three-years-old, his family took him on a fishing boat in the ocean. Gabe developed a love and a “bond” with the sea, according to his bio. He remains chipper while working hard and keeping a positive attitude, which helps when he’s doing chores that require muscle power. Gabe also loves drawing, specializing in realistic portraits, which he would like to get into as a possible future career. Gabe is also fluent in sign language after studying for a few years. Gabe’s wife Raquell says he has a good sense of humor and always manages to make her laugh.
Gabe Brown Enjoys Being With His Family
In recent years, Raquell and Gabe have been pretty quiet on social media as they want privacy. Gabe occasionally posts photos on Instagram, sometimes talking about how wonderful Raquell is. Aside from that, he wants to keep time with Raquell on the down low, especially when they don’t have a camera on them. Their daughter is still too young for TV, but people know her name is Sophie and that Gabe is proud to be her father. Gabe is also good with kids; social media posts with his brother Bear Brown’s son show that kids adore him.
For Gabe, privacy is the most important thing to him and his family. After he married Raquell and had to live with Ami in Washington State right away, the couple finally moved out in 2019 with the money Gabe had earned from being on the show. Unlike some of his brothers, Gabe didn’t want to leave the state. The Alaskan Bush People star wanted to ensure his wife and daughter were close to his in-laws. Overall, Gabe is not much of a reality star and enjoys his time away from the spotlight.
