Akhilendra Mishra is an Indian actor. He is best known for playing the role of ‘Karur Singh’ in the TV serial “Chandrakanta” (1990s). Mishra mostly plays villain and comic roles.

Akhilendra Mishra was born on 28 March 1962 (age 57 years; as in 2019) in Chapra, Bihar, India. He spent four years of his childhood in a gurukul in the city where his father worked. Akhilendra studied at Chapra Zilla School and went to Rajendra College, Chapra to pursue B.Sc. in Physics Hons. Mishra wanted to become an engineer but his interest in acting encouraged him to enter the film industry. She started doing theater at a very young age and did her first role in the Bhojpuri play “Gauna Ki Raat”, which was based on child marriage.

Later, he joined IPTA (Indian People’s Theater Association) and Ekjute Theater Group to learn acting.
