During one of his auditions he met producer Rohit Nag. Later, the two were brought closer to each other by their common friend, Karan Wahi (a television actor).

Soon, they fell in love and Rohit proposed to Aishwarya on 4 January 2014. In an interview, Aishwarya told how Rohit proposed her, she said,
Rohit proposed me on 4th January and it was a very romantic proposal, which is why I am the envy of all my girlfriends. He had arranged one surprise after another for me. So, when he proposed to me there were flowers, music, fireworks, champagne, a presidential suite and what not! It completely blew me away and I immediately said ‘yes’ because it felt so right.’
After dating for almost five years, the couple got married on 5 December 2014 in Delhi.

In 2003, she started participating in a local beauty pageant in Delhi. In 2006, she participated in the Miss India pageant and was among the top 10 finalists. Later, she worked as a model for various brands.
