as a comedian

According to Atul, when he was running his IT business, he was bored with his monotonous life. So, he started doing stand-up comedy. Talking about the early days of his comedy career in an interview, he said,

When I was wondering what to do with my life, I kept posting jokes on Facebook as a form of comic relief. There I realized that I had a sense of humor that people appreciated. I received positive feedback and lots of support from family and friends. So I made a New Year’s resolution and signed up for an ‘open mic’ in 2012. I still remember that night. My hands were sweaty, my legs were trembling and my throat was dry but I managed to win the 4-minute slot. Wow! That experience was so enriching and addicting that it continued thereafter. That’s how it all started.”
