a subtle detail Ahsoka Hinting at the history of the ancient Sith, and the origins of some of their most powerful dark side symbols. Ahsoka rewrote history Star Wars galaxy, revealing that it was once part of a vast interstellar civilization – one that seemed rooted in the dark side of the Force. The Nightsisters of Dathomir actually originated from the distant planet Peridea, located in another system, and they were ruled by a Zeffo named Kujet.
ancient history Star Wars The galaxy has always been a mystery, filled with unanswered questions about the origins of the Jedi and Sith. However, these revelations go back much further, and they raise more questions – especially about what happened to this interstellar civilization in the first place. It apparently collapsed and became legendary, but the cause of the collapse has yet to be determined. Ahsoka However, some ancient power is being brought back; the Great Mother of Peridia is working with Thrawn, and their dark magic apparently comes from the same source. Ahsoka Episode 7 may have subtly revealed their lasting impact on the galaxy.
Surprising Sith Portrait of the Great Mother’s Red Triangle
While both are rooted in the dark side, Nightsister magic differs from the Sith’s use of the Force. The Nightsisters are indirectly exposed to the Dark Side, which means they are not consumed by its power or forced to compete with each other; instead, they work together to develop their respective abilities.Great mothers prove this in books Ahsoka Episode 7, using the tracking spell. When they do this, the Force bends into a red triangle around them. This design perfectly matches one of the ancient symbols of the Sith.
The three Night Sisters are clearly based on the Greek destinies (their names are a riff on those destinies), blending in with the three witches from Macbeth (hence the episode title). The implication is that just like the witchcraft legends in the real world, three people are the optimal number for the Mothers to join forces. This could mean that the Triangle Effect is common among the Nightsisters – and that they leave a legacy behind.
Sith symbols may come from legend of the Night Sisters
Triangular and pyramidal shapes have always been associated with the dark side of the Force. The red triangle is a symbol of the Sith and even represents the gateway to the Sith world of Malachor in the World Between Worlds, and many of their structures are pyramid-shaped. This always seemed odd, as the Sith were indeed supposed to worship Number Two; their sacred “Law of Two” was based on the idea that there were only two Sith at any one time, which was a corrupted version of the Doctrine of Two, which The doctrine also admires the two. Ahsoka Episode seven, however, may finally explain this apparent philosophical contradiction.
Ahsoka It has been proven that the Sith incorporated some elements of this long-forgotten interstellar dark side civilization into their own culture and philosophy. The Sith language of Urkitat, also long known as the Ancient Tongue, is now confirmed to be derived from Zeffo and the Nightsisters of Peridia. The same goes for other elements. Many of the secrets of the dark side that the Sith unlocked were likely stolen from the Zephyr and Perid, which explains why many different Sith beliefs seem inconsistent.
Peridea is truly where the cycle of light and dark begins
Of course, Beran Skoll has his own agenda. He came to Peridea because he believed it was where the cycle of conflict between the light side and the dark side first began – a conflict that he clearly felt predated even the birth of the Jedi some 25,000 years ago. The triangular image used by the Great Mothers is reproduced in some buildings in Peridia, suggesting that he was right. The Nightsisters were part of the first Dark Side Empire, larger than Palpatine could have imagined, and they were presumably overthrown by the Light – but left behind a legacy.
The traces of the dark side left behind by the collapse of this interstellar empire have had a corrosive effect on the galaxy.in main Star Wars Across the galaxy, Peridea’s language and imagery were assimilated by the Sith and incorporated into their own beliefs along with other elements they discovered from various dark side cults. It’s even possible that this is the true origin of the Sith; 5,000 years before the events of the Skywalker Saga, the Jedi conducted an ill-advised study of Urkitat and were corrupted by it. Urkitata is known to have great power in the dark side, summoning those who have darkness within them.
What was uncertain, of course, was what Beran believed he could do now that he had arrived in Peridia. The Dark Jedi believe there is a way to break the cycle that has consumed galaxies and civilization for longer than recorded history. Star Wars galaxy, but without knowing what is calling him, it’s impossible to say how he thinks this will be accomplished. Still, there are fascinating parallels between the call Baylan feels and the call ur-Kittât makes to the most vulnerable. It does feel like everything AhsokaAncient clues are coming together that could lead to the return of a threat from ancient times – one whose dangers predate the Jedi and the Sith.
