While on stage at her “Weekends with Adele” residency in Las Vegas this Saturday, February 17, the 16-time Grammy winner spoke about the meme. “I know it sounds crazy, but I don’t really like being famous, do I?” She explained.

Adele went on to say that she was right in the game looking for Michael Jordan. “Then the people with the camera came up and asked me twice. They said, ‘Do you mind if we film you? Can we put you on the screen?’”
The singer and songwriter stated that she did not want to be in front of the camera. “I just canceled [my] Las Vegas [residency]. I really don’t want to be [on camera].’ “They came back and filmed me.”
In addition to discussing the meme, Adele addressed rumors about her lips, which critics said she had filler injections after losing weight.
“I have naturally big lips… I don’t need filler,” she declared. “The reason she seemed like a different person was because he was in a bad mood. Because I thought, ‘These motherfuckers are back and they’re filming me against my will.'”
Adele added that she was just very upset because she didn’t want to be filmed. “But I guess she was asking [for] do it by going.”
Adele recently spoke about volunteering at her son’s school
The discussion about NBA memes comes less than two months after Adele spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about volunteering at your child’s school.
“I’m thriving a little bit,” Adele said of volunteering for her son Angelo. “There are so many things your school does more now, with community vibes, which is fantastic.”
Adele also noted that the kids Angelo goes to school with don’t really care about her or her fame. “The kids don’t care. Kids don’t give a damn who I am. And I don’t feel insecure, but I do feel nervous when I’m around a lot of adults and strangers I don’t know. That’s why preparing food for school events is my dream.”
Adele added that she ended up making dozens of chicken skewers for Angelo’s class. “I did it the next day. It was great. I spilled the turmeric everywhere, so it stained my entire kitchen. I made 60 of them.”
