Abigail Shapiro was born on Sunday, 08 November 1992 (age 28 years; as in 2020), and hails from New York, USA. Born to a pianist father, Abigail turned to music at the age of sixteen, when her father enrolled her in opera lessons as a Hanukkah gift. At the age of fifteen, she appeared as Miriam Aaronovitch in the film A Light for Great Towers (2007). She graduated from the University of Southern California, and later, she did a three-year course in classical singing and opera at the Manhattan School of Music, New York.
