Aatish Kapadia is an Indian TV director, lyricist, dialogue and screenwriter and actor. He is best known for writing the script of the popular Star Plus TV serial ‘Khichdi’ (2002).

Aatish Kapadia was born on 30 April in Mumbai. Their zodiac sign is Taurus. In 1980, she did her schooling from Sarala Sarjan English School, Church Road, Juhu, Mumbai. In 1987, he studied Bachelor of Commerce from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. In 1992, he made his debut as a writer with the Gujarati theater play ‘Andhalo Paato’. The theater play became very popular and a Hindi film titled ‘Aankhen’ based on this play was released in 2002. Some of his other Gujarati theater plays as a writer are Action Replay, Ek Bijne Gamta Rahiye, Ladkavaya and Thank You Kokila.

- In an interview, he shared that during his adolescence, his family, despite being a wealthy family, went bankrupt. After this, problems started arising among his family members. To get solace from this, he used to sit near a Champa tree near his house and observe the behavior of passers-by, based on which he created characters for his theater plays and TV serials.
