Aashi Chowksey was born on Thursday, 7 March 2002 (age 21 years; as of 2023) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. His zodiac sign is Pisces. She studied at Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School in BHEL, Bhopal and then in 2022, Aashi Chowksey earned her bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sports from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. During her school days, Aashi joined the National Cadet Corps (NCC) in 2017, which offered sport shooting. He learned sports shooting in Panchmarhi, Bhopal. After completing his schooling, he took up air rifle sport shooting professionally at Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy, Bhopal. During the selection trials, Aashi Chouksey was selected by the officials as one of the two candidates out of 225.

Aashi Chouksey continued her achievements in 2022 when she won a silver medal in the 10m air rifle competition in a team event held in Hangzhou, China. In August 2023, Ashi won a silver medal in the individual event and a gold medal in the team event at the Chengdu 2023 FISU World University Games held in China.
