Aaron Carter’s team is talking.
Following the artist’s tragic death at age 34 last November from accidental drowning after taking alprazolam (Xanax) and difluoroethane, a compressed gas, his team spoke about the death of his late sister Bobbie Jean Carter at age 41 this month.
“This year has definitely been one of so many losses and tragedies,” his team wrote in a statement to E! News.

If you didn’t know, 11 years ago, his sister Leslie Carter died of an overdose. They have two other brothers, Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys and Angel Carter.
Bobbie Jane left behind an 8-year-old daughter. She has remained out of the spotlight since the family’s reality show. Carter’s House ended in 2006, but he was arrested in Florida for shoplifting and allegedly carrying fentanyl earlier this year.
Our thoughts are with the Carter family’s loved ones at this incredibly difficult time. Unfortunately, all of these stars died in 2023.
