Stephen Twitch Boss, a 40-year-old American dancer, committed suicide on Tuesday, December 13. Allison Holker, his wife, confirmed his death in a statement to People Magazine on Thursday. Private. According to the 34-year-old man:
“It is with great sadness that I inform you that my husband Stephen has left us. Stephen lights up every room he enters. Above all, he values family, friends and community, and leading with love and light is everything to him. He is the breadwinner of our family, the best husband and father, and an example to his fans.”
Boss, who became a star on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show, leaves behind Holker and his three children, Weslie, Zaija, and Maddox.

Relationship between Stephen Twitch Boss and Allison Holker
Stephen Twitch Boss and Allison Holker first met at a party in 2006. Boss told Dance Spirit that he and his wife met at Ivan Koumaev’s party, but she “remembers nothing!” The pair then met and appeared in Season 7 of So You Think You Can Dance, but didn’t start dating until the season-end party.
People magazine quotes Allison Holker as saying:
“There was no discussion, no conversation, no first meeting; we literally danced and held hands the next day, and never looked back.”
In May 2012, the couple appeared together on the red carpet and publicized their love story. They appeared together on the 16th season of Dancing with the Stars the following year. Stephen Twitch Boss got down on one knee and proposed to Holker in June 2013. The couple got married. They married in Paso Robles, California, at his friend Nigel Lythgoe’s vineyard in December 2013. He also became a stepfather to Weslie, the daughter of Allison’s former relationship.
To Justin Bieber’s Somebody to Love, Boss and Holker performed a hip-hop dance. Allison emphasized the importance of dance in their relationship with Us Weekly in 2020.

In March 2016, Boss and Allison Holker welcomed their first child, a boy, Maddox, into their family. Allison immediately revealed her second pregnancy to Boss. In an interview with Us Magazine two months before giving birth in 2019, she said:
“Both of our kids are overjoyed. I guess Maddox is still figuring out what’s really going on with the whole situation. We keep mentioning that there will be additions. He’s talking to the kid.”
Allison Holker gave birth to the couple’s second child, a girl named Zaia, in November 2019. Stephen Twitch Boss died just three days after his 10th wedding anniversary to Holker.
