While most people who go far american idol are having the best time of their lives, others have decided to leave the program in the middle of the competition for various reasons.
A singer recently said she was quitting because she wanted to return home to her kids and didn’t think she was going to win anyway. Another singer said that she didn’t think she was capable of giving 100 percent, so she decided to simply leave the show.
There are 11 other former contestants who left the show or were eliminated by producers, including one who made it to the final five.
