Appearing in both animal and human form, they never cease to amaze their fans.

Artax
Artax may technically be just a horse, but he was Atrejo’s loyal companion until he succumbed to the Swamp of Sorrow. He quickly kept the young hero from the clutches of G’mork and the Void, and he has been his faithful mount for most of Atreyu’s adventures.
Many consider Artax’s death the saddest moment in the film. It’s a harrowing moment, especially when Atreyu begs the horse to “fight the pain” as he sinks in the swamp, only to return at the end.
Whooshwoozool (Night Lady)
Nightcrawler, the group’s angry old neighbor, almost yelled at Petrifier to get out of his lawn. He is sent by his men to seek the help of the Queen of Hearts to stop the Void, like many other representatives in the area.
The Nightcrawler is a furry goblin with a furry head, a large nose, and large ears. In the novels, nightcrawlers are humanoid creatures that live at night in the southern regions of the land. Maybe in the movie he’s grumpy because he’s traveling when he should be resting, and he’s tired, like his bat friend.
sleepy bats
The Nightcrawler rides not your typical regal steed, but a nocturnal animal like him: the sleepy bat, or as he calls it “my stupid bat”. Still, the bat is adorable and some fans even prefer it to its rider, despite its tendency to doze off in flight.
There’s actually another interesting character with bat wings in the book: Smerg, a dragon with a scorpion tail and grasshopper legs. He is a creature of Bastian’s imagination, not a real story. The novel also features Vermin, a rat with bat wings.
Mora, Ancient
Atreyu is frustrated with Mora, the giant tortoise that lives in the Swamp of Grief. This ancient existence was not only allergic to Atreyu, but also completely indifferent to nothingness. In the book, Mora tells him that the Queen needs a new name and sends him to the Prophet of the South, but in the movie, Mora is of no help.
It’s hard to like a giant reptile after the fall of Artax, just to travel and get nothing out of it, but it’s also quite interesting and it’s too large to be impressive.
Pyornkrachzark (Stonebiter)
In a way, he could be considered the most annoying character in the story: he’s loud, clueless, and almost causes a landslide when he eats. But unlike most other creatures, Stonebiter Pyornkrachzark is a kind and loving being. In the film, he is tormented by conscience for not being able to stop nothingness and saves his friends on his own, leaving the audience heartbroken for the stone creature.
The sequel portrays Pienklahzak and his family portraying them as more annoying individuals, especially his son, but the original characters will always be loved by many fans.
racing snail
Snails in fantasy movies are usually very cute. Look at the blue haired guy in there mazesnail .racing the story never ends Although he doesn’t have many characters, he is very cute and more like a horse than a snail. When the snail rider told Stonebite it was a racing snail, the giant remained motionless until he saw the adorable snail speeding down the road.
The Snail Trip is Gluckuk, a tiny man who is renamed Teeny Weeny in the film. Deep Roy does a great job playing a dedicated role in his stylish outfit and headgear.
South Oracle
Uyulala, or Prophet of the South, is a much-needed female character in the film, guarded by three magical doors. In the book, she has to sing to survive. She knows everything, but as many heroes have discovered before, a glimpse of her wisdom comes at a heavy price.
Unlike many other characters, Nan Oracle is depicted on screen destroyed by nothingness, which is ugly. Many consider the G’mork to be the scariest creature in the film, but this scene, and the scene where Atreyu goes through the first door, is another memorable scene that scares many.

One of the most interesting characters in the story never ends Can’t bring it to the big screen. Grograman, also known as “The Multicolored Death”, is a giant discolored lion guarding the Goab (Colored Desert). He transforms into Obsidian at night and is said to be the first creature Bastian encounters in Fantasia (called Fantasia in the books). Real fans will get to see him in the animated show.
Grograman is not only a wonderful creature but also a friend of Bastian, and gave Bastian his Sikander sword. That’s a big deal, because he doesn’t like the other guys at Fantastica.
imaginary citizen
Fantasia’s colorful inhabitants are nothing short of amazing. Too bad they’re only on screen for a while, because there’s something to enjoy: bird-headed, dwarf, two-headed man. They gathered on the steps of the ivory tower, waiting for her to lead the war against nothingness.
Given that, in the text, citizens are literally forced to leap into nothingness as it approaches, their attempt to escape is an even more dire situation. In the second movie, we see more of them, but their costumes and makeup aren’t as magical as they were in the original.

Everyone’s favorite lucky dragon in the books emits blue flames, and it looks more like a dog like a lion. He also has incredible talents like sleeping in flight and constantly absorbing heat and air, meaning he never needs to eat. It is also very dangerous for Book-Falkor to enter the water. Both versions of Falcor are life saving friends who give good advice and help to Bastian and Atreyu which is why he is so loved.
Movie-Falkor is cute, fun, and the pet every 1980s kid wants, save for a mogwai. He’s still popular today, so there’s plenty of Falkor merchandise, including this friendly beast’s stuffed animal.
