Zoya Nasir was born on Monday, 15 October 1990 (age 30 years; as in 2020) and hails from Lahore, Pakistan. She did her schooling from Resource Academy and Garrison Academy for Girls in Lahore. Zoya Nasir was introduced to the entertainment industry at a very young age. In an interview he said,
My father Nasir Adeeb makes films so I basically grew up on the sets.
He did his graduation from Lahore College of Arts and Science (LACAS), Pakistan. Later, she also did a course in cosmetology.

Zoya got married at a very young age and went to England to live with her husband. At the age of 21, she divorced her husband and returned to Pakistan. Later, she dated Christian Betzmann, a German travel vlogger.

In May 2021, he severed his relationship with Betjeman following his stance on the Israel and Palestine issue, in which he criticized Pakistan’s stance. In a post, Betjeman wrote,
Sharing what is in the mainstream media will not make any difference. Stop feeling guilty for others when you are spreading filth in your country, not helping your people and community.”

Before pursuing a career in acting, Zoya worked as the creative head at Sabs Salon in Lahore, Pakistan. Later, she moved back to England where she took up the position of product developer for a makeup company. Subsequently, she moved to America, where she earned a degree in cosmetology. She has three salons in Miami, Boston and New York. After completing her degree in cosmetology, she moved from America to Pakistan.

In November 2020, Zoya Nasir was criticized by her fans and followers for wearing a figure-hugging Halloween costume, which angered some religious fundamentalists in Pakistan.

Apparently, on November 1, 2020, Zoya’s boyfriend Christian Betjeman uploaded a photo on his Instagram account with Zoya Nasir, who was wearing a skintight Halloween costume. Subsequently, the Pakistani actress became the target of hate speech in the comments section of the Instagram post for wearing indecent attire and adopting Western cultural norms.

- Zoya wanted to be an actress since childhood, but she started her career as a beautician because acting was not considered a prestigious career for women in Pakistan in the 90s. In an interview he said,
Around the 90s, acting was never considered as it was disliked in those days. So, I turned to the beautician part and turned my love for acting, poetry and music into a painting canvas. It was suppressed but I always knew I wanted to be an artist.”
