Will Ferrell was born on July 16, 1967 in Irvine, California. John William Ferrell is his first name. He is a native of the United States. Ferrell is a Cancer of mixed race (English, Irish, distant German and Welsh). Will Ferrell is the son of Roy Lee Ferrell Junior and Betty Kay Ferrell (mother). Roy Lee and Betty, his parents, were both musicians who played keyboards and saxophone with “The Righteous Brothers”. Will’s parents divorced when he was eight years old. Cloverdale and Rancho San Joaquin were his elementary and high schools. He then attended University High School in Irvine, where he was a football player, soccer player and basketball captain.
