The Masked Singer season 8 Hall of Fame Night marks the beginning of the final round of the competition before the semi-finals, and three new competitors will take to the stage. Whoever wins this last round will join Harp and the Lambs in the semi-finals. Ken Jeong missed The Masked Singer Hall of Fame Night because he had COVID-19, so frequent guest panelist Joel McHale took his place on the panel, alongside Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, and Nicole Scherzinger. They were joined by Leslie Jordan, who made his final Masked Singer appearance. Leslie died on October 24 at the age of 67, when he had a suspected medical emergency, and crashed his car.
The three new Masked Singer season 8 contestants who will be competing on Hall of Fame Night are Venus Fly Trap, Gopher, and Bride. Venus Fly Trap is a giant version of the plant, with a fly inside its open mouth. It sits in an old flowerpot, with its legs coming out of the bottom, looking like roots. On The Masked Singer Instagram page, Venus Fly Trap’s Mask-Ray clue was revealed to be a fly. Joining Venus Fly Trap in this round is Gopher. Gopher is dressed in a long blue jacket with matching pants, red fringed gloves, and red boots. He also wears a silver bolo tie, and a red and white cowboy hat. Gopher is brown with two teeth, and looks more realistic than some of the more cartoonish animal costumes. In an Instagram post, The Masked Singer revealed Gopher’s Mask-Ray clue to be a lasso.
The Masked Singer Hall Of Fame Night Features Three New Contestants
The final Masked Singer season 8 Hall of Fame Night contestant is Bride. Bride is a pink dragon with pink horns and yellow eyes. She is dressed in full wedding day attire, including a white dress, veil, fingerless lace gloves, and fancy shoes. She wears a giant engagement ring on one of her fingers, and pearl necklaces. Her nails are long, and painted mint green. Bride’s Mask-Ray clue is a wedding ring, according to The Masked Singer Instagram page.
The Masked Singer Hall of Fame Night will be an exciting episode because of these three new masks. However, it will be very emotional due to Leslie’s final appearance. Fans will enjoy watching him bring his joyful energy to the show, and hopefully will be comforted by the fact that he can live on through his work. He was always a bright light on The Masked Singer.
The Masked Singer fans have been eagerly awaiting the debuts of Venus Fly Trap, Gopher, and Bride, ever since their costumes were revealed at the beginning of the season. The theme nights have been clues to some contestants so far, as The Brady Bunch brothers, Barry Williams (Greg), Christopher Knight (Peter), and Mike Lookinland (Bobby) were revealed on TV Theme Night. Also, Joey Lawrence was unmasked on ’90s Night, and Jeff Dunham was a contestant on Vegas Night. Although it is unclear exactly what Hall of Fame Night might refer to, these Masked Singer contestants must be at the top of their games.
