Jeff Hafley, the former head coach of the Boston College football team, is not only committed to his job but also to his family. He is happily married to his wife Gina and is the father of two beautiful girls. Gina from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is his other half, and the Hafleys currently live in Boston, Massachusetts. Jeff was born and raised in Montvale, New Jersey, and played football as a receiver at Siena College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history in 2001. He continued his studies, earning a master’s degree from the University at Albany, SUNY in 2003. After his playing career, he tried his hand at coaching and had stints at institutions such as Worcester Polytechnic, Albany, Pittsburgh and Rutgers.
In 2012, he was allowed to coach the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, after which they quit with the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers. Hafley eventually became co-defensive coordinator at Ohio State, where he was recognized as a successful recruit before being named head coach at Boston College in December 2019. On January 31, 2024, he was named defensive coordinator of the Green Bay Packers.

Gina is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and nothing is known about her past until she married Jeff Hafley. However, she previously worked as Marketing Director for Emily Ley. Her duties in the organization changed to reflect the changes in her life.
During her tenure at Emily, she oversaw annual fundraising and events for her alma mater, the University of Pittsburgh. It is not clear if she is still on the team or not. Despite the uncertainties, Gina is known as a devoted mother to her children and a caring wife.
Married life and children
Gina and Jeff’s love story began at the University of Pittsburgh when Jeff was invited to teach. They are said to have sparked instantly, and they eventually tied the knot in a private ceremony, the date of which was kept from the public. However, it is believed that they got married around 2012, since Gina once posted a photo of them in their wedding attire on her Facebook page.
Their first daughter, Hope, was born in 2015. At eight years old, she is a bright and charming girl. Three years later, they had a second daughter, Leah, who is now a lively and curious five-year-old. Despite Jeff’s rigorous schedule, he always puts his family first and enjoys spending time together. Gina and her children often visit him at work, where they show their support for him and his colleagues.
