ABC is kicking off the new year with a new season of The Bachelor. Season 27 of the hit reality TV dating show is ready to begin in a few days, making Monday nights a whole lot more enjoyable. This time, the film will feature 30 women vying for Zach Shallcross’s heart.
Season 27 of The Bachelor will premiere on ABC on January 23, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. CT. Genevie Mayo is one of 30 women hoping to get engaged to Zach before the season ends. Zach originally appeared on The Bachelor in season 19, trying to win the hearts of Gabby Windey or Rachel Recchia. Unfortunately, his time on the show ended when Rachel left him and broke his heart. On the other hand, Zach was cast to star in the 27th season of The Bachelor because he made a lasting impact.
According to the official synopsis for the upcoming season:
“Zach Shallcross’s love-seeking adventure will continue as he becomes the host of the upcoming 27th season of “The Bachelor,” following the painful departures of Gabby and Rachel from “The Bachelorette.”
It continued:
“Shallcross captured the hearts of Bachelor Nation when he made the painful decision to end his journey on ‘The Bachelorette’ following an emotional reveal about his future with Rachel.” As the season begins, the gracious Californian native will begin handing out roses.

Genevie, a cheerleader for the Baltimore Ravens, is terrified of creatures larger than herself. Moreover, it can drive a manual transmission. Although Genevie has just launched a new Instagram account, her social media activity is scant and she is rarely seen online. She has just over 500 followers on Instagram and over 100 followers on Twitter as of this writing. However, once the show starts airing, that number is likely to grow.
