Matich’s broadcasting experience
After his NFL career, Trevor Matich turned to broadcasting, initially as an analyst for Fox Sports’ NFL coverage. In the spring of 1998, he began his broadcasting career calling NFL-Europe games, and later that year, he provided commentary for the Air Force-Navy game on the Military Channel. Matich increased his presence on Fox Sports Net with a strong schedule of nationally televised college games in 1999 and 2000. By 2001, he was a member of the CBS Sports NFL staff.

Trevor Matich’s broadcasting career was further secured in 2007 when he joined ESPN. During the college football season, he became a prominent figure on ESPN Radio’s College GameDay, an all-day show that airs from noon to 7 pm ET and features analysis, insights, news updates and key game reports.
