Cory Booker is a Democratic politician who is running for re-election as a junior United States Senator from New Jersey. Booker served as Newark’s mayor from 2006 to 2013 before running for senator in a 2013 Senate special election. Cory won re-election in 2014 against Republican politician Jeff Bell.
Most of Cory’s supporters believe that Cory is destined for the presidency. On February 1, 2019, Cory wowed his fans when he announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. Booker withdrew from the race a year later after failing to meet voting thresholds. He later endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden over Sen. Bernie Sanders.

At 51, Cory Booker finally moved on with a partner. In February 2019, Booker told him the breakfast club that he was dating someone, but did not reveal the person’s identity. In a March 2019 interview with TMZ, Rosario Dawson confirmed that she was in a relationship with Cory. Rosario said TMZ:
“I’m just grateful to be with someone who I respect, live with, and admire so much, who is bright, kind, caring, and loving.”
Booker recently told Wendy Williams that it was about time she got serious about her love life. It’s a big step for Booker, considering he’s never shared a living space with a partner. Booker spoke of his mother’s relief when she broke the news of the move:
“You have your furniture given away, all that sharing everything. I’ve never done that before. And it is a blessing. We are at the beginning of that process, but it has been wonderful. And I think my mom had the same reaction: it was about time…”
Could Booker and Rosario’s next step be marriage? We are not sure, but he revealed in the breakfast club that your partner would make a good first lady.

Poet Cleo Wade and Booker were linked in 2017. Speaking with Bergen Record in 2017, Booker referred to Wade as a special person and that he wanted the relationship to lead to marriage. “I’ve been single too long,” Booker said. However, the relationship between Cleo and Booker failed. However, the couple still share a close bond.
Before dating Cleo, Booker had largely kept the details of their relationships private. In 2013 he said Washington Post that she chose secrecy because she wanted to protect couples from public scrutiny: “Because how unfair is it for a young woman to put them in the spotlight if they haven’t registered yet?”
Booker has consistently refused to deny reports that he is gay.
Despite talking to and having relationships with women, rumors questioning Cory’s sexuality never seem to go away. Cory has a part to play in fueling the rumors, as he never definitively clarifies his sexuality. he even told her Washington Post that it’s wonderful that people think he’s gay. He added:
“Because I want to challenge people on their homophobia. I love seeing on Twitter when someone says I’m gay and I’m like, ‘So what does it matter if I am? So be it. I hope you’re not voting for me because you’re assuming I’m straight.”
