The famous defender is known to have helped Pirates win multiple trophies, including the NPSL Championship and the Mainstay Cup. In addition, he appeared in the 1980 Mainstay Cup final against Morocco Swallows, which was voted the fans’ favorite match of the decade. When questioned about his child, Yster fondly recalls the joy he had watching Papi tightly tag opponents like Pollen “Trompies” Ndlanya.
