Where was Obi-Wan when Anakin attacked the Jedi Temple? Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 5 revisits Order 66 and reveals Reva’s secret past, her connection to Obi-Wan, and her plans for Darth Vader. A key moment in the episode deals with Obi-Wan’s whereabouts on the night of Anakin’s infamous puppy massacre, which is addressed in the prequels.
Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 5 sees Newly Appointed Inquisitors Reva (Moses Ingram) and Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor), Young Princess Leia (Vivienne Laila Blair) and Jabi A rebel group on the planet Mu begins a duel. Obi-Wan is trapped at the base, trying to negotiate with Reva, who says he was away the night Order 66 first went into effect when she saw Anakin (Hayden Christensen) in the murdered Jedi Temple harm her countrymen. This incident led her to take revenge on the Sith Lord himself.
While Obi-Wan couldn’t answer Reva, long Star Wars Viewers will know he left Earth during the siege of the Jedi Temple. As seen Star Wars Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan fought the separatist general Grievous in Utapau. Shortly after Obi-Wan kills Grievous, Commander Cody (Temuera Morrison), who had been assisting Obi-Wan, receives news of Order 66. This man fights alongside Anakin Skywalker, aided by soldiers. clones, bursts into the Jedi Temple and kills Young. Reva, a Jedi in training, thinks Anakin is here to help them. When she saw his true intentions, Rewa hid in the corpse by pretending to be dead.
Meanwhile, Obi-Wan narrowly escapes the attack and joins Yoda and Bail Organa aboard Organa’s ship. The trio travel to Coruscant, where Obi-Wan and Yoda discover Carnage and a security hologram of Anakin becoming Darth Vader and then attack the Temple. It is unclear what happened in Reva between the Jedi Temple massacre and Obi-Wan’s visit to Coruscant. It could be that she, like many others, fled from the fledgling Empire, or that the Empire found her in the ruins and trained her as an Inquisitor.
Anakin’s cruelty and Obi-Wan’s absence have left an imprint on her, as she believes the Jedi Master should be around to stop his apprentice and protect the cubs. But given how quickly the attack happened, it’s unlikely Obi-Wan would have survived Order 66 and saved the rest of the Jedi if he had been in the Temple at the time. Despite that, Reva has been traumatized and is ready to enter the game to avenge the only family she has.
this Star Wars The timeline, at least when Reva transforms into the Inquisitor, has so far remained a mystery, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be clarified in future episodes. The events of Order 66, especially in her eyes, are confusing, in part due to Obi-Wan’s absence. It provides a deeper insight into the engine and rise of Reva Obi-Wan KenobiThe stakes are even higher, especially now that her loyalty to the Empire is misguided.
