Ruelas denies hiring a former police detective to investigate his co-stars. However, Ruelas says that he reinforced his security after receiving death threats.
Louie Ruelas is Dominican, Mexican and Puerto Rican
During the Jersey Ladies and their Men: Part 2 panel at BravoCon 2022, Louie Ruelas shared that he is Dominican, Mexican and Puerto Rican. The businessman revealed that he grew up with three brothers in the Bronx and added that his family moved to the suburbs of New York when he was a teenager.
He said that he is still close to his parents and siblings. On August 27, 2022, he shared family photos of her celebrating her father’s sobriety. “My 76 year old father is 7 years sober today. Dad, we are so proud of you! You inspire everyone around you. I love you dad!”
“Happy birthday mommy,” Ruelas captioned a late May 2021 post. “We love you so much!! Thank you for all you do for us.”
Ruelas’s wife, Teresa Giudice, said in season 13 episode one that she viewed Ruelas’ sisters, Jennifer and Veronica, as her sisters. “Now that I have Louie’s family,” Teresa said in a confessional, “she was filling that void that [wasn’t] before.” On January 16, 2023, Teresa wrote on Instagram:
“I admire these two women so much and I want to share this TRUTH because they both mean a lot to me. The fear of being so vulnerable in front of Louie’s sisters didn’t seem comfortable at the time, until we put our egos aside and accepted all the pain and joy in our lives and have grown so much together from that. ”.
