To unlock the Nataruk Bow in Warframe, players will have to progress the New War main campaign. Warframe New War ends with Hunhow giving the Nataruk to the player as a gift after some training with the weapon. The Nataruk is a Sentient bow made from the bones of Hunhow’s kin and has excellent stats. It’s well worth the effort needed to complete the quest, especially since there are no special requirements to obtain one.
Like in most Destiny-style RPG Looter Shooter games, Warframe’s New War main quest has prerequisites players must complete before they can begin grinding for the rewards. Players must have completed Warframe’s Prelude to War and own a Railjack and a Necramech. The quest itself will take some hours to complete, so time is also a necessity if players want to earn this weapon.
The Nataruk has a few key features that make it stand out from other Warframe weapons, even amongst the new weapons added in the New War update. It has unlimited ammo, a total perfect shot rating of 900, and a total charged shot rating of 900, deeming it one of the best weapons in Warframe. The Nataruk bow deals puncture damage, which makes it great for taking on all but armored and shielded enemies. There are three types of shots players can make with the Nataruk: quick, charged, and perfect. Using the charge indicator to release at two-thirds will allow players to land a perfect shot with the Nataruk, for which the puncture damage is 648. This shot also has a higher critical chance and critical multiplier than the charged shot or the quick shot options.
Warframe’s Sentient Nataruk Bow Features and Mods
Arrows shot by Warframe’s Nataruk bow do not arch, and they have infinite punch-through capability. The weapon does have a loudness to it, however, and can alert nearby enemies who aren’t in the path of the shot. Also, only quick shots have a chance of being headshots, while the charged and perfect shots do not with this weapon. Despite this, the Nataruk is still a decently practical weapon when built properly.

The Nataruk also comes with a gifted weapons slot and Orokin Catalyst that boosts its mod capacity. Once players finish the main campaign of New War, they can purchase duplicates of the Nataruk from Cephalon Simaris for 100,000.
When equipping mods for Warframe’s Nataruk bow, players should avoid any that increase firing rate, which can mess with the chance to land a perfect shot. They should instead consider mods that boost the ability to land headshots, or a mod like Critical Delay that can improve Critical chance and lower the fire rate for better perfect shot chances.
