In 2017, she worked as a head waitress at the North Indian restaurant ‘The Dhaba’ in Glasgow, United Kingdom. In 2018, she joined her family restaurant business ‘Vasudev Edigas Fastfood Pvt. Ltd.’ in Bangalore. He debuted as an actor with the 2018 Kannada film ‘Ammachi Yemba Nenapu’, in which he played the role of Ammachi.
Vyjayanthi participated in the popular TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss Kannada 8’ in 2021 as a wild card contestant.
However, he left the show midway for which he received heavy criticism from ‘Bigg Boss Kannada 8’ host Sudeep Kiccha.
