In 2022, Vineet was arrested by the police for attacking a young man, Alex. It was told that Vineet had taken Rs. Took Rs 6 lakh from Alex and returned only Rs. 3 lakh. On July 25, 2022, when Alex went to Vineeth’s house to ask for money, he beat him up, after which Alex was admitted to the hospital. Subsequently, Vineet was arrested under section 308 (attempt to commit culpable homicide) of the Indian Penal Code.
