Vasishta N. Simha was born on Wednesday, 19 October 1988 (age 33 years; as of 2021) in Mysore, Karnataka, India. He attended Sharada Vilas Education Institute, Mysore for his primary and Sadvidya School, Mysore for his secondary education. Later he got himself enrolled at the National Degree College, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru to pursue a bachelors degree in computer applications. He was fond of acting and singing since childhood. Vasishta N. Simha was interested in acting and direction since his childhood. During his college days, he directed his first play. Talking about the same, he narrated,

I directed a play in my college days, I also won an award for that. All of this was very encouraging for me. I used to make frequent trips to a theatre in Bangalore and that attracted me more towards cinema. I started acting in theatre plays. I have acted in half a dozen plays. I left my job and put my 100 percent focus on plays. From there my cinematic journey began.”

In 2013, he made his debut in the romance Kannada film ‘Aryas Love,’ directed by Puneeth Arya. In the same year, he appeared in the comedy-drama film Raja Huli, playing the character Jagga. Vasishta N. Simha starred with Yash, Meghana Raj, Moni, Chikkanna, and Charan Raj in the Guru Deshpande-directed film. Vasishta made his cinematic debut in 2015 as Jagga in the Kannada-language action film ‘Rudra Tandava.’ Chiranjeevi Sarja, Radhika Kumaraswamy, P. Ravi Shankar, Girish Karnad, and Krishna round up the cast. The story follows Shivaraj (Sarja), a common man seeking vengeance for the murder of his brother by the local mafia. In 2022, Vasishta N. Simha announced him being the part of K.G.F: Chapter 2, he second part sequel to the 2018 film K.G.F: Chapter 1. The film features Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Vasishta N. Simha, and Prakash Raj. The story of this film be based on the After defeating Garuda, Rocky, whose name frightens his opponents, becomes the uplifter of individuals struggling at the KGF by assisting and fighting for them. Rocky is revered by his allies as their saviour. Now he must confront his greatest nemesis, Adheera, and discover more about his background. The film is announced to be released on 14 April 2022. He will be portraying the character named Kamal in this sequel.

Singing

Vasishta N. Simha made his singing debut with the song ‘Neecha Sullu Sutho Naalige’ in Rishab Shetty directed Kannada-language romantic comedy film ‘Kirik Party,’ which was released in the year 2016. Next, he came up with his second song in the film ‘Dayavittu Gamanisi’ with the unplugged song titled Marete Hodenu. In 2018, he sang another song for the sequel of the film Kirrak Party, Neechamaina. Following this, he also sang songs including 6ne Maili Title Track and Dhwaja. The actor also received huge appreciation for his singing as well from the audience. He also performs at various music concerts.
