Varun Dhawan was born on Friday, 24 April 1987 (age 36 years; as in 2023) in Mumbai. Their zodiac sign is Taurus. He did his schooling from Bombay Scottish School, Mumbai. After that, he attended the Nottingham Trent University in England, where he completed his graduation in Business Management. There he also applied for a job in a London-based bank, but he was rejected. In an interview, he had revealed his relationship with an anonymous girl while studying in America. Talking about that girl he said-
I was in HR college at the time…it was my first serious, long-term relationship. I think it went on for four months… but then he cheated on me. I think I dealt with it OK; I’m a bit dramatic – I’m an actor, after all – so I guess I wanted to experience heartbreak somewhere. There are supposedly nine emotions, and you have to go through them all to learn.

He completed his graduation in Business Administration and took up acting as his career after being rejected from a London-based bank.
He assisted Karan Johar in the Bollywood film ‘My Name is Khan’ (2010) as an assistant director. Later, Karan Johar launched him as an actor in the Bollywood film ‘Student of the Year’ (2012) alongside newcomers Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra.
