In 2009, Varinder Singh Ghuman won the Mister India contest and stood second in Mister Asia. In 2011, Varinder earned his International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Pro Card by winning the Amateur Australia and competing in the Australian Grand Prix. Later, Ghuman was noticed by Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger who appointed him as a brand ambassador to promote his health products in Asia. In an interview, Ghuman talked about his trip to Spain for a competition where he met Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger. When Arnold promoted Ghuman’s Bollywood film on his social media, he shared his excitement. He said,
I met the star during her trip to Spain to compete at the Arnold Classic Bodybuilding Championships. I was top ranked in the event and Arnold was thrilled to see my body and said that I was the tallest bodybuilder in India. I feel proud to be noticed by such a big Hollywood actor. Before this he had never promoted any Bollywood film. I consider it his blessing that he posted my poster on his account.

Varinder Singh Ghuman made his debut in the Punjabi film ‘Kabaddi Once Again’ (2012), in which he played the role of ‘Shingara Singh’.
In 2014, he played the role of ‘China’ in the Hindi film ‘Roars: Tigers of the Sundarbans’ alongside actress ‘Nora Fatehi’.
Later he was seen in films like ‘Marjaavaan’ (2019) and ‘Tiger 3’ (2023).
