It is responsible for supporting naval forces in combat naval operations, defending the nation’s borders, and maintaining security at sea.

Enlisted ranks

Military staff is the lowest rank held by all officers. They are responsible for a wide range of tasks, including operating and maintaining ships and submarines, conducting combat operations and providing support services. Seamen (E-1 through E-3) are considered trainees. They currently have no features. The Chief Petty Officer of the Navy is the senior soldier of the division. He is also the principal advisor to the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO).
