Ujjwala Tiwari was born as ‘Ujjwala Singh’ in the year 1953 (age 66 years; as in 2019) in Haryana, India. She is a former Sanskrit lecturer at Daulat Ram College, Delhi.

Ujjwala Tiwari got married to Bipin Sharma at the age of 17. However, Ujjwala and Bipin decided to separate when Ujjwala was pregnant with their son Siddharth. Reportedly, it was their collective decision. He met ND Tiwari in 1968 at his father’s house at 3, Krishna Menon Marg. Both of them started seeing each other in 1977. In the late 1970s she became pregnant with Tiwari’s son.

Controversy
He once created a ruckus at Tiwari’s official residence in Lucknow. According to Ujjwala, she was stopped from meeting ND Tiwari at the gate by her OSD (Officer on Special Duty). After the incident, she sat on a dharna and claimed that it was a conspiracy by the OSD to not allow her to meet ND Tiwari.
