Nearly six months after Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift went public with their romance, the tight end’s teammate Harrison Butker hopes there’s an incredible future for the couple.
During a recent interview with EWTN Thoroughly, The Kansas City Chiefs kicker spoke about the relationship between Kelce and Swift. He admitted that at first he was nervous about meeting the Bad blood singer. However, he continued to praise her as “down to earth.”
Butker also stated that he was with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift during New Year’s Eve and that it was a “great experience.”
As for what the future holds for his teammate and pop icon, Butker hopes they get married and start a family.
Butker’s comments come just two months after rumors circulated that Travis Kelce was planning to propose to Taylor Swift next year. However, inside sources told TMZ that the gossip was wrong.
Additionally, they noted that the couple is still in the “honeymoon phase” of their relationship. It’s obviously too early to say if they will take the next step in the near future.
Meanwhile, Kelce and Swift are enjoying quality time together. Kelce flew to Australia and Singapore for a few days to see Swift perform her Eras Tour. They were also recently spotted vacationing in the Bahamas.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift fans are reportedly calling out the singer’s “intrusive” photos with Travis Kelce in the Bahamas.
Gossip blog Deuxmoi notably shared the snaps while the duo hung out on a pier. The Swifties just didn’t agree. They quickly took to Instagram to express their opinions on the decision to post the images.
“This is very intrusive,” one fan wrote. “Give them a break.”
Another fan stated: “What if, listen to me, we started worrying less about blurry and grainy images and let people live? Hunting someone during their planned vacation is nothing new.”
However, some commentators believe the images were approved by Taylor and her team. “The graininess is intentional: it makes you think it’s such an intrusive mush when in reality Swift can blend in and be invisible anywhere whenever she wants.”
This didn’t stop Swifties from denouncing the decision to post the images. “I’m all for pop culture, but this is so unfair to them!!!”
