Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce talked about his favorite Christmas movie and, boy, does he have a soft spot for the classics. Kelce’s favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas story, which may not come as a surprise to many. The film was shot in Cleveland, Travis’ hometown.
Travis recently talked about the 1983 Christmas classic on the latest episode of his podcast. New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce. During their conversation about his favorite Christmas movies, Travis went deeper.
“Damn, man, there are so many good ones,” Travis mused. “I mean, A Christmas story comes home That’s the one I get the feeling because it’s filmed in Cleveland.”
For Travis Kelce, the iconic Christmas movie filming locations spark nostalgic feelings. “When I was a kid, Tower City I remember going down that slide, I remember going into the mall area,” he added. “On top of that, like the scene outside, it reminds me of a snowy Christmas in Cleveland. I just understand the feelings of that one.”

Travis Kelce weighs in on other Christmas movies, including a couple he thinks are overrated
Taylor Swift’s current boyfriend prefers comedies over dramas when it comes to Christmas movies. “I’m a comedy guy. I don’t like Christmas movies that aren’t funny. So I’m probably going to say either. Elf either Four Christmases”Travis explained, adding a couple more holiday standards.
Jason interrupted saying that he’s a big fan of Vince Vaughn and he can see it. Four Christmases and again. “Dude, it’s a classic,” Travis gushed before adding another modern classic. “Oh, The Grinch. Curse. The Grinch It’s another good one. “Jim Carrey is my favorite in everything, man,” he noted.
Jason then chimed in with another Christmas standard: National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. “God, Christmas holidays. Man, we’re forgetting all the good ones! she added. Surprisingly, Travis Kelce isn’t all that happy with the beloved Christmas comedy.
“I love Chevy Chase, I just like it Vacation in Las Vegas much more,” he said, bringing out his inner Scrooge.
Of course, ’90s kids will probably notice one quintessential Christmas comedy that was left off the list until now: Home alone. While the Kelce brothers mentioned the film, their evaluation may seem like a lump of coal to fans.
“I love it. I love it. I can’t say anything bad about it. If you put it on, I’ll watch it right now,” Travis explained. However, the movie doesn’t live up to his incredibly high comedy standards. “But in terms of one of my favorites, I just like a little more comedy.
