Transgender woman filmed fighting at Kanye West show breaks silence on fight

Not long after shocking footage of the fight from Kanye West’s performance was posted online, the transgender woman at the center of the incident spoke out.

As previously reported, the fight occurred during West’s performance at Rolling Loud last week. The transgender woman was seen fighting with a man.

As the situation worsened, a violent mosh pit formed. Fortunately, the fight ended fairly quickly, but the transgender woman’s face was bloody from the injuries she sustained.

The transgender woman was later identified as 22-year-old Blu Linares. She told TMZ that the violence was directly related to her gender identity. She also stated that she felt the men she fought singled her out for accidentally bumping into them.

Linares further explained the “mosh pit-like” atmosphere, which caused her to be pushed. That’s why it was difficult for her not to bump into men. However, once she made contact with the men, she claimed that she heard them shout transphobic comments at her.

He then showed the media outlet the injuries he suffered during the fight over Kanye West’s performance. This included a deep gash between his eyebrows.

Despite his injuries, he told TMZ he was fine. He said he would meet with some attorneys to discuss options. But he noted that he cannot take legal action against the men.

Linares insisted that she did not start the fight. She added that she was being bullied and that she was simply defending herself. The authorities were not involved in the situation.
