Here’s the full rundown: Ilana (DeVitto) and her Greek boyfriend Mike (Tsimitselis) travel to Santorini for her sister Alex’s (Katerina Konstas) wedding, where she is immediately welcomed with open arms by all of her relatives.
When Mike surprises Ilana by asking her to marry him in the same lighthouse where her father proposed many years earlier, her well-intentioned and overzealous mother Athena (Sirtis) goes into overdrive, excited to have another daughter. Ilana gets caught up in the vortex of Athena’s attempts to “help,” including buying a wedding dress for her soon-to-be daughter-in-law and booking a church…though Ilana and Mike aren’t rushing to set a date. .
