Shimmer Lake (2017) – 6.2

This Netflix crime drama follows a small-time robbery that turns into a bigger conspiracy involving murder throughout the movie. The Sheriff (Ben Walker) investigates his brother (Rainn Wilson), but both of their intentions and plans are shrouded in mystery throughout.

Adam Pally plays the Sheriff’s partner and tries to help in the investigation as best he can.

Band Aid (2017) – 6.6

This Indie film stars Zoe Lister-Jones (who also directed) and Adam Pally as a married couple who are trying to find a healthy way to argue. They’re finding that their marriage has turned into constant arguing between the two and nothing is resolved.

They decide to try to turn their arguments into songs and find that it’s therapeutic because they can leave the songs on the stage. It’s a fun and heart-warming film that’s worth checking out.
