Early life
Tony DeAngelo was born in October 24, 1995, in Sewell, New Jersey, United States. His full name is Anthony “Tony” DeAngelo. He has American nationality and follows the Christian religion. He belongs to American-White ethnicity. Furthermore, he has the birth sign of Scorpio and is currently 28 years old starting in 2023.

He became a restricted free agent after the 2018-2019 season. He ranked fourth among NHL defensemen with 53 points, 15 goals and 38 assists in 68 regular season games before the season was canceled due to COVID-19. Additionally, DeAngelo scored a hat trick in a 6-3 win over the New Jersey Devils on January 9, 2020.
On October 15, 2020, the Rangers signed DeAngelo to a two-year, $9.6 million contract. The Rangers placed him on unconditional waivers on July 23, 2021, allowing the club to buy out the remainder of his contract and release him as a free agent.
