Tone Bell Will Be Featured As A Host Of Netflix’s “Drink Masters” Season 1

Drink Masters, a Netflix original series, is ready to rock things with great drinks and stiff competition. The reality show will feature mixologists and bartenders from across North America as they prepare to create liquid art to wow the judges and win a $100,000 prize. While the concept of the event may be similar to a regular cooking show, the result will be so unique, leaving both the audience and the judges speechless, so that’s okay. The creators of Blown Away will present a show hosted by comedian, actor and producer Tone Bell, who is best known for his role as Scott Evans in The Flash.

According to the description of the program:

“Twelve of the world’s most innovative baristas pour, spin and mix their way through a series of high-stakes cocktail challenges for a chance to win a life-changing prize and a reputation. The Ultimate Beverage Master.”

Drink Masters will premiere on Netflix on Friday, October 28.

He then returned to Atlanta to work for a corporation that eventually moved him to Dallas, where he began turning his hobby into a business. In 2014, Tone discussed his work with Cliche magazine, saying that when he moved to Dallas, he knew no one and had to find a way to meet people without “becoming weird”. He decided to try his luck with an open mic, believing it would be a fun opportunity to meet new people.

Tone, a fan of old humor, listed Bill Cosby and Bill Burr as his favorite comedians. The Drink Masters host also credits Kevin James of The King of Queens as the main inspiration for his ability to blow a humble concept beyond grandeur. Tone and the judges appeared in a virtual chat with Bonnie Laufer ahead of the Drink Masters premiere, where they discussed the upcoming episode. Bonnie informs Tone that he has “the best job in the world” because he hosts a show about cocktail makers. He declared:

“You’re right; I have the best job in the world.”

Bonnie then asked if he was drunk at the end of each episode, to which the Drinks Masters host joked that he was drunk, but not because of the show. Tone went on to say that he would have a hearty breakfast every day and that the hardest aspect of the show was not being able to finish the beautiful cocktails the mixologists would make.
