Tom Holland has shared a hilarious TikTok with leaked footage from Spider-Man: No Way Home onto his Instagram, showing the return of “Bully Maguire.” Marking the conclusion to Holland’s Spider-Man: Homecoming trilogy, Spider-Man: No Way Home was released in theaters this past December, quickly shattering box office records while currently sitting at $1.74 billion in total. The film has also fared well with both audiences and critics and currently holds the highest audience score of any MCU movie on Rotten Tomatoes with 98%.
In addition to providing a strong conclusion for Holland’s Peter Parker, the film has also been praised for how it integrated past Spider-Man actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield into the story. Much to the relief of fans everywhere, the film features the characters in more than just cameo roles and actually sees Garfield and Maguire team up with Holland throughout the entire third act. In addition to Maguire and Garfield, Spider-Man: No Way Home also brings back a host of other past Spider-Man actors, including Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin, Alfred Molina as Doc Ock, Thomas Haden Church as Sandman, Jamie Foxx as Electro, and Rhys Ifans as Lizard.
Taking to his Instagram account to partake in some funs with his fans, Holland shared a post from TikTok user bullymaguirestrikesagain that features leaked footage from Spider-Man: No Way Home. The footage, which sees Holland, Maguire, and Garfield in the midst of a huddle during their final battle at the Statue of Liberty, has been hilariously edited to include “Bully Maguire” from 2007s Spider-Man 3. As Holland explains who the Avengers are, Maguire’s hair and suit turn black before he yells, “How is this helping?!”

Although Spider-Man 3 is widely regarded as the weakest of Maguire’s Spider-Man trilogy, the film remains popular even today because of the sheer number of memes it has produced. The sequence in which Maguire’s Peter Parker, under the influence of the alien symbiote, gives himself dark bangs and dances through the street is arguably the most well-known part of the film. Of course, the symbiote that Maguire’s Peter has bonded with also makes him susceptible to sudden bouts of rage, which evidently was the idea behind the funny fan edit that Holland shared.
For months ahead of Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s release, Holland combatted leaks regarding the movie. Now that No Way Home is out, however, it’s clear that he’s ready to have a little fun and engage with the millions of fans that the movie has so clearly resonated with (even if it means posting footage that was obtained illegally). Holland himself has revealed that working with Maguire and Garfield was an absolute joy and the clip has obviously been posted in good fun. Although Bully Maguire likely won’t be appearing in the MCU in any official capacity, the digital release of Spider-Man: No Way Home is sure to facilitate the character’s return in meme form.
