Following the rumor that Gisele Bündchen is now dating Joaquim Valente, Tom Brady speaks out about his ex-wife’s alleged boyfriend.
A source said The Daily Mail that Brady is trying to “do good” in Bündchen’s new relationship. “Tom has been dating and it’s about growing from his relationship with Gisele,” the source noted. “And move him to a place where they are co-parents.”
However, the source also claimed that Tom Brady has accepted that the relationship between Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente began years ago. “If she wants people to think she’s only been dating Joaquim since June, so be it,” the source continued. “But they have been together longer and they are not taking it easy. Tom has accepted it.”
Although Brady and Valente are not friends, Valente is close to Brady and Bündchen’s children. “Tom has to find the good in him and thinks he’s a good guy,” the source said. “If Joaquim ever becomes a father figure to his children, Tom will be able to adjust.”
Speaking about Tom Brady’s co-parenting skills, the source noted that before Gisele Bündchen, he co-parented with Bridget Moynahan. “People seem to forget that Tom has a lot of practice with all of this from his time with Bridget,” the source shared. “They had a child, they moved on and figured it out. Things are working out between him and Gisele and if Joaquim is going to be in his life forever, then he will make everything work for the best of everyone, there is no other option.”

Tom Brady noted that he was focusing on balancing his work and family life. “You focus on work when it’s time to work, and then when you get home, you focus on the priorities at home. All you can do is the best you can do. That is what I will continue to do as long as I work and as long as I am a father.”
