Tom Brady has officially retired from the NFL. Next season will begin his second act as an NFL analyst on Fox. But the seven-time Super Bowl champion is still looking to defy the odds.
In a video posted to Twitter, the 46-year-old legend challenged his 40-yard dash time at the 2000 NFL Draft Combine. And 24 years later he beat his own time.
Source claims Brady’s ex-wife had an affair
Brady has been in the headlines a lot this week. He and his long-time wife, Giselle Bundchen, divorced in 2022. Shortly after their separation, Bundchen began dating her coach Joaquim Valente. But a source says Bundchen and Valente became a couple while she was still married to Brady.
“If you want people to think you’ve only been dating Joaquim since June, so be it. But they’ve been together longer and they’re not taking it easy. “Tom accepted it,” the source said.
“Tom and Joaquim are not friends, but Joaquim is with his children, so Tom has to find the good in him and thinks he is a good guy. If Joaquim becomes a father figure for his children, Tom will be able to adapt.”
Bundchen opens up about her ex-husband
Brady and Bunchen’s divorce came shortly after the future Hall of Famer rescinded his plans to retire in 2022. This caused many to speculate that Brady’s decision to return to football in his forties was the catalyst for their divorce. After their split, Bundchen said the split was “heartbreaking.”
“It’s hard because you imagine your life was going to be a certain way and you did everything you could, you know? He believed in fairy tales when he was a child. I think it’s beautiful to believe in that. I’m so grateful I did it,” she said.
“You give everything you have to achieve your dream. You give 100 percent of yourself and it’s heartbreaking when it doesn’t end the way you hoped and what you worked for, but you can only do your part.”
But the former supermodel also said that she and her ex-husband had reached a crossroads where they “just wanted different things.”
“When I was 26 and he was 29, we met, we wanted a family. We wanted things together. As time goes by, we realize that we just wanted different things,” he added.
