Tina Turner was interested in singing from a very young age and also had a knack for it and even used to sing in the church choir. She used to visit nightclubs in St. Louis. At the Manhattan Club.
It was the time when she met her future husband Ike Turner, as well as his band “Kings of Rhythm”. Ike Turner knew how to recognize her talent and gave her the opportunity to record with him as a backup singer in 1958.
